The work is in overall good and stable condition. Stable cracking is noted throughout the work with associated tenting and hairline losses. Slight abrasions are noted along the edges of the work. Stable craquelure is noted on the figure's robe, most notably on the dark edge of the figure's shall. Stretcher bar marks are noted on all edges of the work with associated lifting. Ultraviolet light examination reveals scattered areas of inpainting throughout. The work is unlined.
