The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound. Tiny accretions are occasionally scattered. Slight variations to the patina noted, in keeping with the organic nature of the medium. Brass hinges for installation are secured with cement to the reverse of the base. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
