The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is hinged periodically at the upper edge to the backing board. The edges of the sheet are deckled with mild wear, faint discoloration and occasional tiny nicks. A tiny stable loss is to the lower right corner. Artist's pinhole marks are to the upper edge, and two tiny accretions are near the lower right corner. Visible under close inspection raking light, a tiny vestige of adhesive residue is to the upper left corner, and a faint drip accretion is to the lower left corner. Visible only under ultraviolet light, faint mat burn is to the horizontal edges. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
