The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges of the sheet are deckled, in keeping with the nature of the support. Minor wear and slight fraying are to the extreme edges. Tiny accretions and minute spots of foxing are intermittently scattered to the margins. Remnant tape is to the edges at the reverse, likely from a prior hinging. Visible upon close inspection and ultraviolet light, a minute spot of inpainting is to the margin near the center upper edge.
