The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The edges of the sheet are deckled with mild discoloration, faint creases and tiny accretions, in keeping with the natural aging of the support. Mat burn is to the left and upper edges. Visible upon close inspection, stable minute losses are occasionally to the extreme edges. A tiny tear measuring approximately 1 cm. is to the center of the lower edge. A faint handling crimp is to the center of the lower edge. Pinpoint accretions and tiny spots of foxing are infrequent. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light.
