The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

2. Exterior exhibits significant scratches and white rub marks, dents, leather handle exhibits prominent patina and dents, metallic corners exhibits scratches and marks. Hardware exhibits rust, one lock is broken.
Interior exhibits light marks, stains and scratches.

3. Exterior exhibits significant humidity stains, prominent patina, dents, scratches, wear and tear to the corners, leather handle exhibits prominent patina. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits light scratches.
Interior appears to have been restored, it exhibits stains, glue residue marks to the hinges.

4. Exterior exhibits significant marks, dents and scratches, one side exhibits significant cracks to the canvas and swelling, metallic corners exhibits dents, marks and rust, lozine exhibits dents and marks, leather handle exhibits creasing and prominent patina. Hardware exhibits oxidation.
