The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable dents, marks, scratches and rubbing consistent with age and use.

Exterior exhibits dents, marks and scratches, there are some losses to the canvas, visible wear to the canvas covering the hinges, there are some wooden parts slightly exposed due to small perforations to the canvas, the wooden slats appear to have been sandblasted. The lozine trim exhibits prominent patina, dents and marks. The leather closure strap is missing. Hardware appears to have been cleaned and polished, still it exhibits scratches and dents.

Interior is incomplete, upper top lid appears to have been restored aftermarket, it exhibits marks, wear and light stains.
