The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est sur sa toile d'origine. La toile est maintenue sous une tension correcte et reste stable. Vue du revers, on remarque quatre petites patchs sur la toile, trois sur le bord supérieur et une au centre du bord inférieur.

Le tableau présente très bien à la lumière naturelle, la profondeur des couleurs, la texture de la surface picturale et les détails de la composition étant très bien conservés. La toile présente une légère ondulation sur le côté gauche, visible de face. L'ensemble est recouvert d'un vernis uniforme.

L'examen sous UV montre que le tableau est en excellent état.

The canvas is unlined, it is held under correct tension and remains stable. As seen from the reverse there are four small patches to the canvas, three to the upper edge and one to the centre of the lower edge.

The painting presents very well in natural light, with the depth of colour, the texture of the paint surface and the detail of the composition all very well preserved. There is a slight undulation to the canvas down the left-hand side as see from the front. The whole is under an even varnish.

Examination under UV shows the picture to be in excellent condition.
