- Overall condition good. Some small scratches and nicks to the metal, consistent with normal wear. Necklace clasp secure, with safety catch, brooch with single pin fitting and safety catch, earrings with post and clip fittings.
- The brooch can be attached to the centre of the necklace by sliding the folding hooks on the brooch through the gold cubes marked with a small black dot.
- Necklace width 2.4 cm.
- Additional marks: London hallmarks for 18 carat gold, necklace and brooch with date letter 'p' for 1970, the earrings with date letter 'q' for 1971, necklace and earrings with maker's marks 'JAD' for John Donald, the brooch unmarked.
- Diamonds: total weight approximately 2.70 - 2.90 carats, assessed to be on average H to I colour, VS to SI clarity.
