The canvas, stretcher and attachments are in generally good condition. The canvas is slightly slack on the stretcher. The canvas is slightly wavy. There are some soft handling marks in places. There is some soft surface dirt in places. The impasto is well preserved. There are some craquelures in places to the thick impasto, most notably in the upper centre red impasto. There are some soft stretcher marks slightly visible towards the extreme edges. Examination under ultraviolet light shows no indication of inpainting. It is our opinion that the work is in good condition.
