The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est peint sur un panneau de chêne composé de trois planches, non parquetées mais renforcées par onze taquets et une pièce de toile. Le panneau a été aminci par endroits (notamment au niveau de certains taquets). Le panneau est stable.
A l'oeil nu, on constate des repeints ayant légèrement viré le long des jointures des planches (notamment le long de la jointure supérieure).
On constate des reprises dans le fond ainsi que sur l'entablement et une trace de restauration au niveau d'une ancienne griffure dans le verre roemer. Le tableau est encrassé et sous un vernis jaunis.
A la lampe UV, on constate des restaurations récentes le long de la jointure supérieure précédemment citée. On constate également une restauration dans la griffure au centre du verre roemer. On constate des restaurations dans l'assiette, la tourte ainsi qu'au niveau du coin inférieur gauche. Sous un vernis épais dissimulant les précédentes campagnes de restaurations visibles à l'oeil nu.
Dans un cadre en bois (approx. 95 x 110 x 7 cm).

The painting is on an oak panel consisting of three boards, the panel joins are reinforced with eleven cleats and a piece of canvas. The panel has been thinned in places (particularly around some of the cleats). The panel is stable.
In natural light, discoloured retouching along the panel joins can be seen (particularly along the top join). There is some retouching to the background and the entablature, and evidence of a restored scratch in the roemer glass. The surface carries some dirt, and the varnish has yellowed.Examination under UV light confirms the above. Further retouching can be seen in the plate, the pie and the lower left corner. The varnish precludes a more in depth examination.
In a wooden frame (approx. 95 x 110 x 7 cm).
