The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor surface abrasions and minute nibbles due to age and handling. The bust and the base have been carved separately. There are light discolorations to portions of the right side of her face and neck and along the lower edge of the torso. A shallow chip to the reverse on the left. Small surface scuffs to the chignon and breast.
The walnut base is later with some surface scratches.
