Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage un peu sec qui a pu aplatir la matière par endroits.

A l'oeil nu, on constate quelques retouches dans les bruns de la falaise en bas à droite.

A l'UV, on constate les retouches susmentionnées ainsi que des retouches ponctuelles dans les animaux, dans le ciel, un des monts et certaines végétations. On constate des retouches plus importantes le long des quatre bords. Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un nettoyage récent. Sous un vernis fin avec des traces d'ancien vernis, sur la signature entre autres.

Dans un cadre en bois et stuc dorés (approx. 69 x 61 cm.).

The painting has been subject to quite a strict reline, it is held under tension on a keyed stretcher.
In natural light some scattered retouching can be seen in the browns of the cliff at lower right.
Examination under UV light confirms the above. It further reviews some scattered retouching in the animals, in the sky, in one of the mountain and in some of the plants. There is further retouching to the canvas edges.
The painting has been recently cleaned. The whole is under a thin varnish, there are traces of an older varnish to certain areas as well.
In a giltwood and plaster frame (approx. 69 x 61 cm.).
