Les quatre tableaux se présentent dans un état de conservation moyennement satisfaisant.

Ils ont fait l'objet d'un rentoilage réalisé au cours du XXe siècle.

A l'oeil nu, on constate quelques pertes de glacis dans les bruns des quatre tableaux. On constate un soulèvement au niveau d'un repeint au sein du tableau 'Chien en arrêt devant deux faisans'. Ils sont sous un vernis ancien, encrassé.

A l'UV, on constate des restaurations ponctuelles. Les quatre tableaux sont sous un vernis vert épais uniforme masquant d'éventuelles vieilles campagnes de restauration.

Encadrés dans des cadres en bois doré, travail moderne (approx. 30 x 35 cm.).

The four paintings are in a condition consistent with their age.

They were relined sometime during the 20th century.

Several losses to the glazing in the brown areas of the paintings are visible to the naked eye. In addition, one of the restored areas on the work 'Dog Stopped in front of two Pheasants' has begun to tent. The paintings are under an old, grimy varnish.

Other scattered restorations are visible under UV light. The four paintings are covered with a uniform, thick green varnish which hides other possible restorations.

Framed in gold wood frames, current period (approx. 30 x 35 cm.).
