The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are some dents, marks, scratches and wears consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue, some minor damages especially to the patina revealing the white gesso layer underneath (not visible on the illustration), to some edges and to some points of the carving, especially to some fingers of the fauns which need to be refixed.
The upper basin is not fixed to the group.
