The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
There are the inevitable dents, chips and surface scratches to the gilding and the painting due to age and handling. Some losses to the gilding revealing the wood underneath. Some losses to the sword. A fixation ring screwed to the back. Nice quality of carving.
