    A double bec verseur sur piédouche à bordure d’oves, le bol en Imari à décor bleu et ocre de chrysanthèmes et fleurs de prunier, les anses ciselées d’un feston, l’appuie-pouce en coquille, les deux becs verseurs unis flanqués de panneaux ciselés de branches et oiseau sur fond amati, poinçon sur le piédouche, les bec-verseurs et les anses : décharge ; sur le piédouche : poinçon de petite garantie en usage entre 1798-1809

    A FRENCH RÉGENCE SILVER-MOUNTED IMARI SAUCEBOAT, THE MOUNTS PARIS, 1717-22, THE PORCELAIN, KANGXI (1662-1722)
    On spreading foot chased with ovolo borders, the circular Imari bowl with pie-crust border and decorated in blue and ochre with chrysanthemums and prunus flowers, the spouts chased with Régence motifs of foliate branches and birds on matted ground, the scrolling handles chased with festoon and with shell thumbpiece, marked on foot, handles and spouts with décharge; on foot with later guarantee mark in use from 1798-1809

    A comparable sauceboat was sold at Sotheby's, Paris in Hôtel Lambert, Une Collection Princière, Volume IV : Les Arts de la table, 14 October 2022, lot 806.
