Le tableau a fait l'objet d'un rentoilage qui a légèrement tassé la matière picturale.
Le tableau est sur un châssis rapporté, à clefs.
On constate une ancienne couture de toile horizontale dans la partie inférieure du tableau. Les bords ont été un peu abrasé probablement par un ancien encadrement.
Le tableau est sous un vernis jaunis.
A l'UV : on constate des retouches dans les feuilles vertes en haut à gauche ainsi que dans les feuilles vertes au centre de la composition.
On constate des retouches ponctuelles dans le sol. Les animaux du centre n'ont pas fait l'objet de restauration récente.
Sous un vernis épais uniforme pouvant dissimuler d'autres campagnes de restaurations.

The painting has been relined, which has slightly flattened the pictorial material. The painting is mounted on a keyed stretcher. An old horizontal canvas stitch can be seen in the lower part of the painting. The edges have been slightly abraded, probably by previous framing. The painting is under a yellowed varnish. Examination under UVlight shows retouching areas in the green leaves at top left and in the green leaves in the center of the composition. Punctual retouching can be seen in the ground. The animals in the center have not been restored recently. Under a thick, uniform varnish that may conceal other restoration campaigns.in a frame (approx. 140 x 113.5 x 4 cm)
