The flat oval stone is engraved with a gryllus, combining a bearded head in profile to the left and the head of an elephant in profile to the right, with profile heads less well defined inverted in the beard and along the elephant’s lower edge. The stone is mounted as a ring in a modern gold setting. For the same combination of elements see no. 625 E. Zwierlein-Diehl, Glaspaasten im Martin-Von-Wagner-Museum der Universität Würzburg.
