The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Lower edge deckled and upper, right and left edges uneven. The four edges with minute paper losses and tiny nicks, most notably the right edge. Artist's tack-holes to the upper corners and lower left corner, as well as three additional tack-holes to the sitter's stomach. Light-stained and mat-stained. A few pinpoints of foxing and surface accretions. Some handling creases. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
