The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged on the reverse at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Mat-stained and light-stained. Left, upper and lower edges deckled with a few associated small nicks; upper edge possibly from a previous binding. Flattened creases at the upper corners. Staining along the upper edge and lower right corner, also visible on the reverse, probably due to moisture. A few pinpoint accretions along the left edge. Faint surface scuff to the right center edge. A few pinpoints of foxing.
