The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged on the reverse at the upper corners to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Left edge perforated, inherent to it being from a notebook, with a few minor small paper losses. Minute paper loss to the upper right corner. A few handling creases, primarily to the upper edge. A few stray ink flecks and pinpoint accretions. On the reverse, remnants of previous hinges at the lower corners and upper center edge. Intricate shading and delicate handling of the crayon. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
