The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly light-stained, consistent with the work's age. A tiny tear to the right lower edge. A tiny paper loss to the upper right corner and artist's tack-holes to the upper left and lower corners. Faint handling creases. A few pinpoints of compression to the sheet at lower right. A few pinpoint inclusions to the sheet, probably inherent. Recto: line is strong and ink is slightly faded. Verso: adhesive residue on the upper corners associated with a previous mounting. Line is strong and ink is slightly faded. No restoration detected. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
