The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There is clear lacquer to Harlequin's hat, right arm, hand and the bird on his hand, concealing breaks and restoration. His left hand and left foot and ankle restored. Further restoration to his right shoe. Base probably broken and restored, with clear lacquer extending to most of the base and some of the rocky stump. Slight wear and occasional small flake to gilding and enamels. Occasional very small surface abrasion, firing crack or minute chip. Some chipping, losses and restorations to applied leaves and flowers.
