The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

There are the inevitable minor dents, marks, scratches and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and use.
As stated in the catalogue there are some restorations :
- the central wooden piece of the back rest is probably later.
- there is restoration with 'gomme-laque' paste filling to the upper-part of the right armrest.
- there are some replacements to the mahogany especially visible to the front of the feet.
- there are some cracks visible to the middle-part of the feet (the back).
- Cracks to one side of the back.
- there are some minor restorations with 'gomme-laque' paste filling especially to the back of the armchair.
Leather : is worn with discolored areas, stains and brownish parts. Some minor losses and wears especially to the armrests.
