Oil on canvas. There is some paint cracking in the areas of thicker impasto, predominantly in the brown and ochre pigments. Examined under ultra-violet light there is a small area of fluorescence to the upper left quadrant and three small flecks of fluorescence to the right of this area. Some small spots of fluorescence in the upper centre and a small spot to the upper right edge. Under ultra-violet there is a thick layer of varnish. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
