The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Not examined out of the frame. The sheet appears to be hinged in places to the underlying support. The sheet undulates slightly throughout. It is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
Left: The right vertical edge is uneven. There is a minute crease with associated pinpoint tear to the lower left vertical edge, as visible in the online illustration. There are soft creases with associated rubbing to the left corners. There are soft hairline creases to the upper horizontal edge. There is a faint abrasion to the lower left horizontal extreme edge presumably due to the artist's working method.
Right: The left vertical edge is uneven. There is rubbing to the extreme right corners and a soft crease to the upper horizontal edge, presumably due to the artist's working method.
