Lot Essay
The Isle of Oxney is a hill rising out of Romney Marsh just north of Iden, East Sussex, where Paul Nash and his family moved in 1925. Arthur Knyvett-Lee and Anthony Maxtone Graham founded the Redfern Gallery at 27 Old Bond Street, London in 1923.

Pencil and watercolour. Not examined out of the frame. On close inspection there are two small pinholes to the lower left corner of the sheet. There appears to be some light staining, consistent with the current acidic housing, from which we would advise removal. There are small spots of foxing. Subject to the above this work appears to be in overall very good condition.
