Ontological Picture

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil on canvas, in the artist's frame with plastic plaque. Not examined out of the frame. The canvas appears to be stretched over another piece of canvas in keeping with the artist’s method. Some spots of surface dirt in several places. Some minor scuffs and small losses to the painted frame consistent with handling. When examined under UV light, there is a tiny spot of fluorescence to the centre right of the painted slip, along the upper edge. Subject to the above it is our opinion that the work appears to be in very good overall condition.
