Lithographically-transfer decoration presents with wear and minor nicks throughout, concentrated to sensitive areas such as corners and where the lid meets the box. Lithographically-transfer decoration has been previously restored in areas on two sides of the box (approximately 11⁄2 x 21⁄4 in. each). Scattered small losses of lithographic transfer decoration along the hinge, as to be expected from normal use. Brass top handle presents with heavy wear and abrasions. The handle has been previously reattached to the box and presents with beige paint splatters, likely from covering restoration. Brass key is heavily worn but in good working condition. Felt lining presents is light soiling and tears along the hinge. A 1⁄4 in. strip of the felt lining is lacking, running the width of the box. Two felt feet missing.
Ashtray and cigarette holder in good condition with scattered scratches, abrasions and wear, commensurate with age and normal use. Gold paint heavily worn throughout. Scattered irregularities throughout, inherent to the making and not visually distracting. Small area of residue (less than 1⁄4 in.) where the dish meets the vertical pen holder, not visually distracting.
Jar with lid in good condition with scattered scratches and abrasions, consistent with age and use. Scattered areas of residue throughout. Wear to the rim of the jar where the lid rests, as to be expected with normal use.
Pen in very good condition with scattered scratches and abrasions throughout. Ceramic base with minute surface scratches and scattered irregularities, inherent to the making. Pen with marks and abrasions, as to be expected from normal use. Ink well is empty and in need of replacement for use.
Calendario Bell in good condition with scattered scratches and abrasions, consistent with age and use. Lithographically-transfer decorated calendar in very good condition with minute surface scratches. Gold paint presents with wear and marks throughout. Base with wear and minor abrasions, as to be expected from normal use, not visible when displayed. Brass handle and bell are slightly oxidized, presenting with a beautifully aged finish. Bell has been previously restored and presents with visible soldering, not visually distracting.
Giornali Bookends in good condition with scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and gentle handling. Red lithographic transfer presents with wear and stress marks on both bookends although more visually present on one. Inside planes of both bookends present with marks and abrasions, as to be expected from normal use and not visible when in use. Felt base of both bookends in good condition, one presents with a minor stain in the corner, not visible when displayed.

Scattered irregularities presenting as gold flecks on the top, inherent to the making. Felt base is heavily worn and the manufacturer's mark is almost illegible.
NATO insulator paperweight in very good condition with scratches and abrasions throughout. Gold paint is heavily worn, as to be expected from normal use. Hand-painted decoration presents with scattered irregularities throughout, inherent to the making and not visually distracting. Base with wear and dirt, consistent with age and use.
Porte di Milano Cigarette Box in good condition with scattered scratches and abrasions consistent with age and use. Metal sliding component presents with scratches and nicks, not visible when slide inside outer sleeve. Felt base has wear and is detached from the metal component. Outer sleeve has two strips of stabilizing tape inside, one strip has folded in areas preventing the tray from sliding in.
Casa con Colonne paper basket in very good condition with scattered scratches and abrasions, commensurate with age and use. Lithographically-transferred decoration presents with marks and light staining, as to be expected from normal use. Scattered irregularities present throughout the lithographically-transferred decoration, inherent to the making and not visually distracting. Gold upper ring presents with minute surface scratches, wear, and abrasions. Inside presents with residue, marks, and abrasions, as to be expected from normal use.
