The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall good condition. The piece presents with a few minor irregularities inherent in the making. With very few faint surface scratches commensurate with age and use. The metalwork with wear and oxidation typical with aging of this material, with more visible oxidation spots concentrated to the reverse, not detracting to the overall appearance. The patina with minor wear concentrated to the high points and extreme edges, and with tarnishing which could benefit from professional cleaning. The reverse with minor rubbing, light scratches and minor nicks consistent with normal use. A later added incision '5' below the signature. The later accompanying wood stand in very good condition. Presents well, ready to display and use.
