Lot Essay

The 'Faaborg' armchair is the first piece of furniture that Kaare Klint designed, in collaboration with architect Carl Petersen for the Faaborg Museum housing Mads Rasmussen's collection of Funen folk art. Several variations were made to the model between 1914 and 1923, and is still in production today.
