拍品的狀況可能存在極大差異，而由於其性質使然，拍品難以處於完美無瑕的狀態。拍品均以拍賣時的狀況出售。

The canvas, stretcher and attachment appear to be in generally good condition. There is some minor fraying to the left extreme vertical edge of the canvas. There are some pinpoint spots of media residue near the upper horizontal edge, presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. There are some pinpoint accretions in places, the most visible being in the lower centre of the composition. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
