The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work has been inspected inside the frame. The sides could not be checked due to the framing status. A line of accretion near upper centre area, measuring approx. 3cm. Pinpoints of faint accretions near the upper right margin. Otherwise, canvas is stable and taut, and in good condition. There are three spots of minor paint loss observed near the bottom right corner, one of them is located along the bottom right margin. Otherwise, paint is in good and stable condition. When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent. Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
