The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is not framed. Pinpoint spots of brownish stain marks observed on the bottom right margin. Otherwise, canvas is clear and taut, and in good condition. Some very fine craquelure observed at the four corners. There is also a spot of shallow paint loss left of the artist’s signature, but affecting it. Otherwise, paint layer is good condition. When examined under UV light, no retouching is apparent. Overall, it is in our opinion that the work is in good condition.
