The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There is very minor rubbing to the upper left corner and lower right corner. There is a minor loss to the media to the left of the upper extreme horizontal edge. There is scattered media to the bowl in the centre, presumably in keeping with the artist’s working method. There are some pinpoint accretions in places. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally very good condition.
