The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The work is structurally sound. The paper has been laid down on board with some minor points of undulation near the lower right vertical edge and lower left corner. There are some pinpoint losses to the upper right and lower corners. There is a crease to the centre of the lower horizontal edge and some minor linear abrasions, predominantly near the lower right vertical edge. There are some pinpoint accretions to the upper right extreme horizontal edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there are some spots along the extreme edges that fluoresce in a manner consistent with retouching and with some also visible in normal lighting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
