The work is structurally sound. There are some minor accretions to the upper left quadrant near the upper horizontal edge and lower left quadrant near the lower horizontal edge. There are some minor paint losses to the upper right and lower left corners. There are pinpoint scattered paint losses in places to the thick impasto in the centre of the composition and near the lower vertical edge. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of any retouching. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in generally good condition.
