The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to or in elaboration of the catalogue entry:
- with wide margins
- some light- and mount staining
- a 2-mm. nick at the lower right sheet edge
- some occasional, pale, unobtrusive pinpoint foxmarks along the margins
- minor, unobtrusive surface dirt at the upper right sheet edge
- remains of old paper hinges at the upper sheet edge verso
