The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The marble top with some minor scattered chips and scratches; also with a restored break running diagonally across the whole top. The case with scattered age and construction cracks as expected. The veneer with some rippling and slight buckling in areas, but mostly on the legs. The veneer with a loss at one knee and nearby area on one side. The ormolu mounts with some oxidation, rubbing and surface dirt. Mounts regilt. Presents well.
