The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each with age and construction cracks as expected. The carving with some scattered minor abrasions and losses (not extensive). Some restored breaks and cracks to carving, particularly to the urns the garlands and the openwork. One with a small crack to the upper corner of the mirror-plate. The other with the garlands at top possibly replaced. Later decorated and now with some rubbing and cracks to the painted decoration. The reverse with some old worm damage, not extensive. Plates probably original.
