The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The silvered bodies with extensive rubbing, verdigris and scratches. The ormolu with some light oxidation, surface dirt and some rubbing. Each vase with the out-scrolling acanthi on the handles slightly loose. Each stamped to rim, one with a '2' and 'P'; the other with 'P P' and '51'.
