The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil and grattage on burlap. Not lined. There is very minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges, not visible when framed. There are some very faint, raised lines in the lower half of the composition that are only visible when viewed in raking light. Examined under ultra-violet light: nothing shows. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally very good condition.
