[1] Astronaut Richard F. Gordon Jr., pilot for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Gemini XI space flight, attaches a tether line from the Gemini XI spacecraft to the Agena Target Docking Vehicle during extravehicular activity. This view was taken over the Atlantic Ocean at approximately 160 nautical miles above the earth’s surface.
