The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall very good condition with signs commensurate with age, noting minor indentations to the recto that are predominantly on the margins. There is a small area of craquelure at the top of the image and minor staining on the right margin, although this is unlikely to be visible if framed without the margins. The verso is in excellent condition with some yellow staining around the margins although this is not visible from the recto.
