Mrs. Thatcher was photographed wearing this suit towards the end of her time as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom. The hat was almost certainly amongst the group of hats commissioned by Lady Thatcher from Katherine Goodison for the 2007 celebrations to mark the twenty-fifth anniversary of the liberation of the Falkland Islands.
