The first medal struck by the Royal United Service Institute for Defence Studies, obv. within laurel wreath 'in Memoriam General Sir George Chesney K. C. B R.E., rev. head of Athena wearing a helmet, facing left, edge inscribed 'The Rt. Hon Baroness Thatcher L.G., O.M., F.R.S. 1 March 2001, silver-gilt by Skinner and co. The second The London Economic summit, 1984, gilt commemorative medal, obv. inscription, rev. view of Lancaster House, with date 7-9 June 1984. The third Bahamas, silver 10 dollars, 1985 commemorating the Royal visit. Inscribed 'Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting. Nassau, Bahamas, 16-22 October 1985, mint state in fitted case. The fourth an Elizabeth II Churchill Crown, 1965, in mint state in a plastic case.
The first: weight 70. 6 gms., 5.0 cm. diameter, in fitted case by Bentley and Skinner
The second: 3.8 cm. wide, in plastic case, mint state
