These large canvases are supported by glue linings and are stable on their stretchers. The paint layers are stable and each have a fine craquelure. The varnish layers have yellowed and clouded slightly with age. Frame abrasions are visible at the extreme edges, and are mostly hidden by the rabbets of the frame.

In the interior still life, restorations along cracking at the upper edge are visible in natural light. A few scattered retouchings along the craquelure are visible under ultraviolet light. Further inspection under ultraviolet light is hindered by an opaque varnish.
