The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

With minor chips, scratches, abrasions and shrinkage cracks consistent with age and handling.
Wear to the gilded areas and flaking to the polychromy, including to the Virgin’s nose and to the figure of the Christ child. The polychromy likely refreshed.
A larger crack to the centre of the upper section of the niche, this is now stabilised with two metal pins either side.
The Virgin’s proper left hand lacking. Sections from three of her fingers on her proper right hand also lacking. The object once held in Christ’s proper right hand now lacking.
Chip to the base beneath the Virgin’s proper left foot and to the drapery surrounding the proper left knee.
