Crucifixion

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Losses overall to the painted surface as visible in the illustration. Minor chips to the gilding. Very minor worming. The tips of three fingers on the proper right hand replaced, the little finger of the proper left hand replaced and the tips of four fingers lacking. The join of the proper right shoulder repaired with some minor evidence of glue. Formerly with a crown of thorns and halo, now lacking. The associated cross with chips and wear to the high points overall and drilled with several holes for a previous corpus figure.
Despite the damages to the surface, this figure has a good authentic feel.
